Tried changing the security type from ‘WPA2-personal’ to ‘WPA-personal’ and the encryption type from AES to TKIP. It now gives me the option to connect but the connection fails

Its probably going to be wpa personal. But it depends what kind of bit your using (34 or 62) which one is like 10 digit password and the other is 5.. or whatever. But this guy helped me alot

There might desire to be a button on the very real/front area of your laptop to alter this on/off. verify it is on. in the experience that your prompt service isn’t perfoming, pass to the administration panel, internet connections, and then troubleshoot the topic.
