I hit a gate how much do you think my insurance will go up?

I am 16 hit a gate going into school one morning because it was locked for a lock down I didn’t know about it was my mom’s car over 8,0 in damages my insurance only covers my dad’s cars but she filed a claim with them anyhow and now I have a point they aren’t fixing her car but are raising my insurance. I have a 3.5-3.7 avg unweighted gpa and this is my first accident . No property damage, I was fine, and the cops in front of me didn’t file a report. Anyone have a close estimate how much it would go up?

  • Why do you think your GPA makes a difference here? Only your insurance company can say how much your insurance will increase.
