I’m a 16 year old girl, and I share a room with my sister. I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE! We both are now teens, and it seems the more we grow the smaller our room gets. As teen girls, we need privacy and lots more room.Basically, I need a good idea of how to design a room for two teen girls with maximum space and privacy. Please, and thanks.

Measure how many sq. ft. your room is and sketch out a blueprint for it
Divide space equally if you can/want to
If you use mirrors correctly, they can make a room feel bigger.
Shelves are your best friends
Bunk beds with those built in dressers are always helpful
If you want separate beds – same thing. Get the ones with the drawers.
is there other bedrooms? is there a guest room that you can convince your parents to let you or your sister have? do you have a basement or attic that can be a bedroom. if there are no other bedrooms theres nothing you can really do but you can get a big curtain or sheet and seperate the room in half use tape or hire a pro. tell your parents that you getting older and teens should not share rooms because you need our space. and the room is to small with her in it. and talk to your parents w ur sister to
Keep ur beds as far away as possible from each other. Me and my sister split our room down the middle and positioned our furniture wherever we wanted. We thought about hanging a wall of beads ya know the ones that hang down in doorways down the middle of our room but never did. It would give you more privacy and seem like you have ur own little room kinda.

If theres no other rooms in your house then theres not too much you can do. When your sister is out use the most of the room and just remeber one day you’ll have your own place 🙂
Well, I guess just half the room. If you need more privacy, try dividing the room with a sheet or a blanket.
Sleep in same bed as her
Adds plenty of room
you could split up the room with like, a big blanket or something like that. or maybe if another sibling has their own room you could ask to switch. since youre getting older and need more space.
