Yes, get yourself a portable hookah.
Anything involving breathing smoke is not safe. Even the water vapor cigarettes have some problems. It’s best to avoid anything with smoke and with nicotine. Real hookah is more dangerous than cigarettes. I smoke cigarettes and hookah, so I know. I’m get embarrassed that I smoke, but I think I’d be even more embarrassed if someone saw me smoking a fake cigarette. They just look so lame.
I’m not personally familiar with the electronic hookahs, but they work on all the same principles as the cigarettes, pipes, and cigars. The jury is still out on how safe these are, but the general consensus based on simple logic is that they are not as bad for you. None of them are healthy or good for you, but because the vapor doesn’t contain the nearly 10 toxins identified in tobacco smoke, they are believed to be less harmful. Because they deliver nicotine, they are addictive. All nicotine is addictive.
