if i reset my router to factory settings, what happens?

So my parents blocked my internet connection.

I want to get it back.

If i reset my router to factory settings, what will hapen? will my parents find out?

And:

When I typed in my IP Router, I got 192.168.1.1

I typed that in the browser, and it asks for a login and password.

I tried: “password”, “admin” and blank as password – all failed.

ANy ideas why this works and how i can get it to work?

  • To reset the router to factory defaults, you need to have access to the router, dummy. Also, if you reset it and change the password, they’ll find out and you’ll get in trouble. so you shouldn’t do anything with it.

    also, you’re obviously a troll because you’re on the internet even though your parents “blocked” it.

  • Quit acting like a meat head. They’ll find out when the password changes.

  • if you reset the router it will probably work, however your parents will also know about it for sure
