If you get a kitten it may be the total opposite of your other cat and be really lovable. The thing though is with cats you can’t really tell how they are going to be and the kind of “catonality” that he/she has. My advice is to go with the one you feel drawn to and see yourself loving like I did. I got my kitty 2 years ago and she was the one laying in this hammock. The other two there were asleep on the floor. She said “Meow” and I knew she was the one. Just go with your gut choice. Good luck.

  • I don’t think your senior cat will be that bad hahahaha..i did not get what do you mean by ‘he doesnt like you’, do you mean he did not get to your lap or sleep with your or any kind of those thing? based on my experience, a cat wont be close to their owner if we did not close with them when they were a kitten. Sometimes, if they were actually very close but maybe we happened to hit or smack them once or twice which also will result them to keep their distance from us. Now, come back to your question.Sometimes, a new kitten will be a good ‘enhancer’ for our old cat to get back to us. Show your excitement to your new one but at the same time attract the old one to join you. Do not ignore the old one because sometimes this may result him to attack the kitten.Maybe first few days, will be a bit difficult to the old one to accept new companion but later he will we sleeping in your lap and all over your body.Thrust me..:)

  • Not ncecessarily cats have varying personalities
