I'm in need of turkey hunting help!?

I somehow missread the Ohio DNR website and mixed up the Deer and Turkey fall seasons! My uncle is coming up from Georgia next week to go hunting with my dad and I, and I thought we were going deer hunting. Now we’ll have to go turkey hunting. Most of our gear will be the same (cammo, shotgun, groundblind, etc., but all the research and planning I’ve been doing to go hunting deer is useless! Does anyone know of a good public hunting area in NE Ohio where I could hunt Turkey? Please help a first time hunter!

  • Woodbury Wildlife Area near Coshocton, Ohio is good. Also, places near Salt Fork, and anywhere in Guernsey County is good for turkey hunting. Personally, i go to my buddys house in Wadsworth but i dont think there is any public hunting land in Wadsworth.
