  • Unlike the earlier M series codes, the V series ones ARE only decodable by a Ford dealer. And don’t go trying any of the bandits on Ebay either.

  • your local Ford dealer should be able to give you the answer, this service used to be free and may well still be.
    Putting it in the fridge is a load of rubbish often touted as being the answer but will not work.
    There are usually a number of small traders offering this service if Fo MO Co cannot help (will not help) perhaps these days you can do this on line
