gear box is pretty much the internals that make the gun shoot the bbs like is shell metal(sorry for spelling) most lwoer quality guns 0-75$ have plastic if you know how take apart th egun and see if the internals are plastic

The Gearbox is an interal component that makes the gun shoot. And to answer your buyer’s question, NO the gearbox in your gun is plastic. Everything is plastic in your gun. Higher end guns have metal gearboxes though. Also tell him plastic gearboxes aren’t necessarily bad anyways.

remove the magazine and look into the mag-well you can see the front end of the gearbox there.. then determine if its metal or plastic.
