I live in a small village outside of a quiet small town, near London. My internet is unbelievable slow even when it’s not at peak time Non-peak time, about 1mbps. Peak time, about 0.2mbps. all the broadband company’s say that the internet will only be 1mbps. There is also no cable where i live, it all comes through one over head cable from the town near by. so my question it there anything i can do about this? Sometimes it gets as bad as 0,01mbps.
Update:
We can not get fiber optic, if you haven’t gathered already.

Really not much you can do besides paying for a better internet . If you call your ISP and complain about the slow service they might increase it if you’re lucky, because the speed you’re getting is probably slower than what your plan guarantees.
Fibre optic
You can’t do much in this case. You can choose a better service provider if there is any.
