Is a 27 inch computer too large?

My parents tell me it is. However I want the space in order to do my video editing. Is a 27 inch computer too much? Pros and cons please.

    More space for doing work, better for gaming, can get ultra hi def models

    Cons –

    Takes up more space, expensive

    I think a 27 incher is fine, or you could do a dual monitor setup with 22’s or 23’s.
