Is a 75 gallon tank too big for shrimp?

If not what kind should I get?

Update:

I have other fish in there.

White Skirt Tetra

Black Skirt Tetra

Swordtails

Guppies

Platy

Buenos Aires Tetra

Neon Tetra

Adding:

Plecos (Once they grow up)

Albino Cory Catfish (Once they grow up)

Update 2:

Will my other fish eat them?

  • Its not too big for shrimp .Rather a waste of a large tank just for shrimp but i like Cherry shrimp .

Edit…If you have lots of plants and hiding spaces they should be ok i have 30 at the last count Red cherry shrimp in 3 gallons with fish and so far there all there but my tank is heavily planted.

  • You really don’t need one that big, but it is just fine.
