My eleven year old stepson hits his head off the back of the seat while in a car no matter how long were driving. My husband said he used to be on pills for I believe adhd and stopped doing this but his mother took them off him not he’s back to rocking why does he do this and should he be back on his med please help

lol i use to that when i was 5-6 because i had to take my anger out but i got over it at 6.

Sounds like a habit that should have been stopped when it started. If he truly needs medication for ADHD, he should be on it. I would never deny my child the medication they need to have a normal functional life. Your husband needs to talk to his mother about getting him back on his meds.

He definetely should be evaluated again. That is unusual and dangerous.

Are there any other quirks that he seems to have? Is it out of his control? I would maybe have him tested for torrett’s syndrome.
