Is it normal for rabbits to hump balloons?

I had a party a couple days ago and today he was running around when he got on top of one of the balloons and humped it until it popped. He’s 4 years old. Is this normal?

  • I would just say he wants a playmate or just give him a cuddly toy to hump instead, has he been castrated? If not that would stop him from being so horny

  • I’m afraid that this is extremely disturbing. He must be put down if this behaviour happens again. At the age of 4 this behaviour is common. Many rabbits only live to the age 5 before being put down.
    You can sell the rabbit for meat, as this afliction only occurs in the brain.

  • Well, I have heard that rabbits are very horny creatures so I would say it’s normal.
