i’ve seen videos of bruce lee bit a heavy bag with no protection, i was just wondering if it would be ok to only use hand wraps.

Alot of people wrap their hands as extra protection. I’d just give it a test-run without to see how it goes and then just take it from there – if you think you need to go for it, if not then that’s that. Keep in mind though, some gloves, especially new ones, can be harsh and just need some time to break in. The way it sounds though – “heavy bag gloves” having wraps nearby wouldn’t be a horrible idea.
Yeah it’s okay. My brother does Muay Thai and they only use wraps on the bag.
Never, never , never, punch a bag with just wraps on!!!
