Just forget about getting a first boyfriend and go right for your second.
Trust me, it is NOT too late. It seems kind of early really, but I know it’s the average age. I had a boyfriend at 14. However, having a boyfriend when you’re 14 is a lot different than what it’s like to have a boyfriend at 18 or even 23. Which is a good thing. Having a boyfriend now will be lots of fun, with not so much stress. It’s a good age because you won’t have to spend TOO much time together, because of school, homework, after school clubs & sports, your parents’ rules, etc. It’s a good way to grow some relationship independence I think, because you’re still doing your own thing, while you know, talking on the phone & texting a lot, so they get to know a lot about you & support you in everything you do, while still giving you lots of space. It sounds like he definitely likes you, so I would give it a try. Just hang out after school with a couple other friends for a while & see what happens. It sounds like he thinks you’re very pretty too…so just be careful, don’t let boys take advantage of you in ways you aren’t cool with…I promise you in the long run its not worth it to go along with something you don’t want to do. The right guy will have all the time in the world to wait…and he should…because you’re young. Just be careful not to try and act like the relationship is older than you two are. Don’t over think it like you are right now…it will go much smoother. Good luck 🙂

You are way too young to have a boyfriend! Have boy friends by all means but don’t think you have to have a relationship for a few years yet.
You’ll be better off concentrating on your education (especially English); get good grades and a good job.
I don’t think its ever to late. I recommend you take charge walk up to the guy and say. “Hey I think your pretty cool wanna hang out sometime like a movie?” And then wait a minute if they don”t answer say, “I’m patient come talk to me when you have an answer.” Then I walk away. Trust me sometimes guys don’t catch the flirt hints. It worked for me but I don’t know if it will for you.
