in greek myths, no. neither Pan nor the satyrs (fauns are Roman) are evil
No! The modern conception of the devil is made by early Church, to intimidate all the Pagan religions of the day that competed with them.
For example,
The devil has goat horns and legs- Pan, popular at the time
The devil’s red skin and his forked tail, even the origin of the name Satan- Set/ Seth
The Egyptian name for Set is Sutekh, meaning adversary. Satan means adversary n is a derivitive of the name Sutekh.
The Pitchfork- Neptune/Poseidon’s trident
TRANSLATION:
He is not evil. He is just misunderstood because of Christianity.

He is not evil, but over the years during the Burning times, he was contorted and the church dulled his antlers and makes him have bull horns. And the church says “the horned one has horns and you must be worshiping the devil.” Thats how they converted a lot of us.
Pan or the Horned God/ One is not evil only the God of the Woodlands or Nature..
Blessed Be )O(
