Is the Macbook Pro with Retina Display a good laptop?

Hey guys! I’m looking to buy a new laptop in a year and a half or so.

I hate Windows 8; and a Mac is the only way.

I’m really liking the Retina Display MacBook Pro

Could you guys on this wonderful community tell me if the specifications are good for the things I’ll be doing?

CPU: Intel Core i7 Quad-Core 2.9GHZ

RAM: 16GB

SSD: 512 or 768 GB (haven’t decided. Tell me which is better)

GPU: 1GB NVIDIA

I will be using the machine for practically everything. I will be having a browser open with lots of tabs, I will be downloading lots of files and apps frequently; I will be doing video, photo, and audio editing on it; I will be consuming media like apps, movies, books, games, TV shows, YouTube videos; I will be creating media like videos, photos, audios, musics, and so on and so forth; I will also be doing lots of social networking.

So, is my computer good for the things I do?

  • Sounds good. I would also recommend getting warranty if possible with such an expensive laptop.

I know Macbooks are popular when working with media and stuff, so your on the right track.

If you’ve never had a Mac before be prepared to spend some time getting familiar with it.

  • i love the idea of you getting the non-retina exhibit for the computing gadget and getting an iPad3. until eventually you’re doing image modifying or something like that, you could make do with the conventional reflects that are nevertheless alluring. What ever you do, stumble on a save that has both and flow play with them. See in case you really desire the recent exhibit or in case you could make do with an iPad3 (which I do have and it really is surprising) and a MacPro. in uncomplicated words you could really ensure, it really is you who will be utilising it, no longer me or the different individual in this record.
