Italians world cup opinion?

Does anyone else share my view? I’m Italian I was born in Italy and I am a big fan of the national team. My question is about Mario Balotelli. Now unless something traumatic happens Balotelli will be on Italy’s World Cup squad in 2014 and he deserves to as he has been playing very well. Thing is I feel like if Italy were to win the World Cup in 2014 or with Balotelli ever I feel like there would be an empty feeling for me. Why? I’ll be honest cause he’s black. Look I am not a racist person at all, I don’t believe in being prejudice I am completely against it and if Balotelli were to be on the team I still of course root for Italy and be incredibly happy if they win. But my thing is he is not Italian. I know he was born in Italy but there is no such thing as a black Italian. People of Italian ethnicity are white/tanned. That’s always been Italy, I’ve never seen a black Italian and I live here. To me it would be a slap in the face that Italy would win the World Cup without an all Italian team. The national team is suppose to represent the country represent it’s people and a black guy representing Italy doesn’t fit the Italian image. Like I said I would still root for Italy but I would feel awkward afterwards looking at a picture of the team with 22 Italians and 1 Black. I do not mean to offend anyone this is my opinion and like I said before Im not a racist person. So does anyone else agree with me?

  • I agree 1% of you. Their are strong differences in races and ethnic groups, both physical and mental. Liberals try to shove the contrary down our throats. The beautiful thing about international sport competition is that you can take pride in people that LOOK LIKE YOU competing. Patriotism is a love for one who is like oneself, it’s human nature. Liberals are trying to do the impossible by trying to destroy human nature. Every liberal who supports immigration spits in the face to every patriot who ever lived, including geniuses like Machiavelli who wanted to unite Italy and get rid of foreigners and foreign rule.You must stand up for your people and homeland and get rid of the third world savages which are polluting your gene pool,and prevent further colonization. You have a culture and a heritage to protect. May I recommend a man by the name of Jared Taylor, who focuses on topics similar to these.

  • it is really kind of strange that the two people representing my country are Black and Egyptian. I remember when my country was represented by Italians.

  • Italy’s national team is in the beginning stages of being dominated by immigrants.

    Look at France, their national team consists almost entirely of Algerians and black Africans from former French colonies.
