ITunes help: Is the preorder price on an album the same as when the album is released?

I just want to know so I know if I should preorder or not. Does the price go up after the album is released? I’ve never preordered albums before and I need some help. Thanks!

It’s the same. It just means that the second it comes out, it will automatically download onto your ipod/phone.

I think it costs more

Pre-order is always more expensive then the item when it’s released. But I usually pre-order if it’s too intense. Battlefield 4 for instance!
