I’m in Year 10 and I left my work experience to the last minute and the deadline is Monday for the forms to be handed in. I’m so screwed, does anyone have ANY ideas where I could go as a last resort?! I am interested in IT, Computing, but I wouldn’t mind a retail shop.

To be honest i don’t think you will find anywhere that will offer you work experience in the time you need it…most business at the earliest would get you to start your work experience next monday and in saying that you first need to actually find a place that is will to provide that to you, IT and Computing places would be the worst place to go now they will hear your explanation and they will pretty much turn you straight around they want organised people they can count on.

I did pretty much the same thing. The best way is just go somewhere you want to work and ask them directly. A retail based job will probably be a sure thing as they can essentially get some work for free. You’ll have to double check with the school that its ok, but I just went down to the place and did it myself.
