Lights flickering then power goes out?

I was on the computer when I notice the two lights I had on start flickering intensely and after a couple seconds, all the power was out. Is this a normal way to loose power? Street lights are still on. Im kinda paranoid.

Sounds to be normal, just check your breaker box if you tend to have more electrical problems
