Many fighters in the top 20 say they are "not ready" to fight the Klitschkos. Are they simply afraid of them?

I mean seriously, if you are in the top 20 of the entire world, you are either ready or misranked. How can they be not ready at that point or just say, “I am not as great as these guys are.”?

  • They realize they will never be ready to fight these guys, but if they want a chance to make money and may be win a championship they need to nut up and fight, not make excuses for not fighting.

They can always make excuses after losing the fight.

  • Klitschko brothers have reached their prime and they proved to all of us that they deserve to be in the top 5 of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. Only a prime Dempsey, Jeffries and Marciano would stand a chance against them.

  • They fear them, or feel that, regardless of their ranking, they are not ready/sufficiently experienced for them.
