Massive spider in my room?

Okay so I live in the uk and there’s a spider in my room, now I’m scared of them and it’s a big one two. I saw it on the curtains and then i tried to catch him by shaking the curtains and trying to get him out of there. But after a while of shakin the curtains I checked to see where it was and it was gone. I think it went behind the radaiter so I sprayed deodrant all around my room and behind my curtains and raidiater to try and make him leave my room and sprayed all over my bed. Will this help get rid of it

  • No, but I bet your room has never smelled so nice. If you want to reduce the chance of a spider sharing your room with you, the best method is to keep it neat and clean. You’ll still run across some (your buddy may be the harmless, but scary-looking Gigantic House Spider, Tegenaria duellica, formerly gigantea), but a lot less often. Good luck!

  • If you have directly sprayed the spider, it might kill or it or irritate it causing it to leave. However it would be more effective to use a bug or spider spray to kill it.

Good luck. Spiders creep me out too.

  • Probably not. It’s probably just waiting for you to turn off the lights and go to bed so it can crawl all over you lol

It’s just a spider. Leave it be.

  • It should help. I would also try spraying perfume were you think the spider might be at.

  • Your overreacting theres no MASSIVE spiders in the british isles.

  • I wouldn’t worry too much – it’s PROBABLY not carnivorous, but if you see claw marks on your furniture, clear out.
