Motorcycle throttle kinked with new drag bars help?

I just recently put dragbars replacing stock mini apes. Now the throttle gets stuck when i turn :/

5-7 inches of extra wire

do i need shorter Wires? or can i re wire them?

if i cant what size cables should i get? its kz440 83 thanks you so much!

Longer cables can be a problem but usually it’s from getting caught on something else, not the bike.
Believe you have it stuck against the frame/tank or frame/wiring harness or tank/wiring harness.
Time for a reroute.

just need to re route the cable I would think, remove from carb and pull through and gently find a new path to the carb.
