  • Norton finds better than 99% of malware. the free ones find from 60 to 75%.

Norton updates frequently. The free ones update once a day.

You can still get a virus even if you’re very careful about where and what you surf. Hackers plant bugs on legitimate sites all the time. I would want the odds on my side.

  • Norton sucks d*cks. Avast! is much better and I also like Malware Bytes Anti-Malware (MBAM). There are too many things that can route around Norton that I know of. The 2 things I did get, one was Windows Defender, Norton didn’t do anything. MBAM kicked it’s *ss. Avast! saved my friends computer. So, both are tried and true.

But the best thing to do is scan your computer and find out what you have. Then find the see what the internets has to say about killing the virus or malware.

The best thing that I know of is Road Runner’s anti-virus. But you gotta have them.

  • AVAST:

“A feature of most of our programs is their ability to update themselves automatically. If you are connected to the Internet, virus database updates are downloaded and installed automatically without any user action. The availability of a new version is checked when an Internet connection is established, and every four hours afterwards. Update files can also be downloaded from these pages if required e.g. if your computer does not have an Internet connection. Updates are usually released on a daily basis.”

But I’m sure I’ve heard our Avast update more than once a day on a couple of occasions.

Norton is better than it used to be. Best thing to do is to check the comparison tests done – here is one place to go:

  • I’ll go with Avast. Norton is just bad. It’s too heavy, cause comp to lag.

Go with Avast, or you can use Kaspersky like everyone says or Nod32. They’re both are good. I prefer Nod32 though, but It’s all up to you.

  • nicely evaluate this… Norton will charge you $50 to guard your laptop. Avast will charge you a million/2 of that to faux it protects your laptop. yet whilst Avast fails to guard your laptop, which it in all probability will in case you employ the internet often adequate, you will might desire to the two purchase yet another antivirus or reformat your laptop that should fee as much as $one hundred fifty. surely, i does not suggestion determining to purchase Avast. you need to besides us AVG unfastened. LOL!

  • The best internet security is Kaspersky. What it does is scan your computer and check to make sure all your passwords are protected. This does not slow your computer down. Norton/Avast do not protect you’re computer from a lot of viruses, as I have had this before.

    GOOD LUCK 🙂

P.S you can buy Kaspersky at any office store.
