Please help me…I feel so terrible…?

Back in middle school I was a really great student, mid to high 90s in everything. Then I went to a very prestigious high school and every term my grades get worse. While everyone else in school complains about 95s, I get 85s. My mom has been so so nice to me. I know that every time I bring back my report card it kills her to see my grades drop and how much disappointment she feels.

I’m nearing the end of my sophomore year now. Each year has two terms, each term has 3 semesters. I got back my second term second semester grades. And again they have dropped. I told my mom and she was so heartbroken. I’m crying at I type this. I’m willing to sacrifice anything to get my grades back up. I don’t know what happened to me going to high school but now I suck in school. Someone, please, teach me what to do. I can give up sleep, my extracurriculars, my social life, anything. Just give me a schedule, tell me what to do.

  • In the high school my kids go to now, the requirement for normal grades is 1.5 hrs per day of study/homework out side of school, for a slightly above average kid. Depending on how much you are studying now, you need to increase that, until your grades are good for you.
