This is the same guy that originally put out the 850K number. Obviously he’s trying to save face.
That’s also a major cop out the way he says nothing is official, HBO verified but didn’t go on record, this and that. Then he just goes on to say he doesn’t doubt the number after hinting it’s probably not right.
