Should I be Concerned ? week 16?

Hey you guys, I’m 16 weeks and when I look at everybody else like they are showing and I look like a walking stick. I started off at 163 lbs and Im about 136 lbs now…im kind of getting wooried i mean sometimes ill show like after eating but other times im look like i got a beach body. my dad just retired soo they are changing the hospitals which means that all of my next appointments were cancelled 🙁 I just dont feel pregnant…I dont get cravings.. alot of the time I do get dizzy when I get up or lift my head up too fast….I just have a gut feeling that something is wrong…i cant gain weight or anything…the only thing that gives me hope that the little guy is still in there is that i havent seen any blood… maybe im just worrying too much..at first i was worrying about getting fat cause i started off 163 and im only 5’2 (with shoes) so i was pretty chunky but now im worried cause i feel too small…my hair is falling out like crazy..im growing hair on my stomach (weird) and last week i broke out in all these small bumps on my stomach….this is my first kid ill be 18 this year im already really nervous…i just want him/her to be ok 🙁

Update:

you see the thing is my doctor gave me to the next appointment to gain weight because I lost all that weight in just 3 weeks….which was way to fast…and even though I’m supposed to be gaining…im still losing

  • Don’t panic, cause these things can happen for no reason.

hair & bumps on your tummy is normal, but…

That being said, get up, get off the computer, call your doctor, and go in *immediately*. If you can’t reach your doctor, go to the E.R.

It’s probably nothing, but the other.. especially the weight loss… symptoms CAN be signs of a serious problem.

ANY time you’re worried about your pregnancy for any reason, call your doctor right away. Better safe than sorry.

Good job going with your gut and asking for help. I’m sure you’re going to be a great mommy.

  • I lost about 20 lbs the first 3 months, it’s totally normal early on. I personally had every symptom you can think of and began showing at 15 weeks. However, my friend has had no symptoms and is currently 24 weeks and still not showing. We are both on our firsts as well. Every pregnancy is different, you should go to the doctors if you are concerned. They will do a sonogram to make sure the baby is all good- and i’m sure it is. Your hormones just aren’t reacting that strong to the pregnancy!
