Should I still look for another job eventhough my employer would give me more hours?

I work at a supermarket part time for $7.50/hr and I work 12 hours per week. I need the money to pay my bills so I kindly asked my employer if I can work more hours. She agreed to give me more hours and said she would let me know when I can start. I wonder though if I should continue looking for another job.

Inquire when you will begin working more hours. In mean time I’d also be looking for other employment….hopefully full time but even another part time would help. A single part time will not support you.
