    Walk to football.

This is something for your parents to sort out.

Discuss this with your mum first and see what she says.

Talk to your mom about it first. My only suggestion is for your grandma to retake the driving test to see if her reaction time remains the same and if she is still capable of driving and knowing all the laws. If she can pass the test, she’ll be fine. A lot of elders in my town retook the test and many passed. The ones who didn’t have vision problems or their reaction time isn’t fast enough. It’s the safest way to see if your grandma is still capable of driving. And the near crashes, it’s not always her fault. Where I live, there are so many reckless drivers that scare me to death. You just always have to be on alert for anything. That’s another thing. Just be more alert and watch your own back.

We don’t have nearly enough to go on. I’ve nearly had several crashes, like when a semi truck came around a blind curve on my side of the highway. If she has specific problems with her eyesight or with hazard recognition there is reason for concern, but in general people become better drivers with age, even into their 70s.
