I don’t want to look like a gangster or anything but is dark blue/black faded jeans and a shirt with flourescent colors, a skull, and a broken skateboard a little too punkish for school? I don’t want to look like a gangster or punk or anything.

It all depends on your attitude. Yeah the clothes sound like punk but thats cool as long as they look good on ya I guess. Just a long as you’re not goin around stuffin kids in lockers then you should be good.
More than likely yes. The jeans sound all right. Tone down the color(s) in the shirt and a skull generally says “trouble” unless it’s the week of Halloween.
