Slow down, and do not rush your shots.
Look at, and judge all your options before taking a shot. If you look at where the cue ball will make contact to pot, there is an invisible line if you follow that that should tell you where the cue ball is going. hit above centre and it’ll be before the line, hit underneath the centre and it’ll be after the line.
If you are not sure what shot to play, get up, have another look, then get back down again.
When playing screw, keep your head down, do not move and keep your shoulders still.
Stay down for 5 seconds every shot. Only move if a ball comes to you.
Always chalk up before each shot, This will stop mis-cues.
Look at the roll of the table, if the table is rolling to the right, remember to hit to the left, on slow shots.
