Sony xplod deck stays on when key is out of ignition?

i have a Sony cdx-gt250mp CD player and when i hook up the Acc wire too the Acc fuse cause i can’t find the wire for acc on the car, the deck turns on with the key off when i hook up the acc too the fuse

i checked over all my connections 4 times everything is right

when i test my acc fuse it rights 0 volts when key is off when i turn it on it reads 12volts which is what its suppose to read

i can close the door and also take the key right out of the ignition and the deck still stays on im not sure how to make it turn on by only acc i’v also never ever heard of this problem

most heads have a switch so you can choose whether it turns off with ignition or not. You will need the head unit out of the DIN slot to do this.

Personally, I hate mine turning off with ignition, but each to their own 🙂

The same happens with our radio, it stays on for a couple of minutes after the ignition is turned off but does eventually cut off. We pop the face off to turn it off straight away.
