Robinson was too big for Pacquiao, and would win this fight.
In his day all championship fights were 15 rounds,but I don’t see it going more than 7 or 8.
Robinson’s speed and power would break Pacquiao down and eventually stop him, aggression against a better boxer works against you, as you move in your own weight is part of the power of the punch so it hurts more.
For durability i would compare Jake LaMotta with Pacquiao. Historians say LaMotta was hit many times with the hardest series of head-shots ever seen in a boxing ring by Sugar Ray Robinson. Over a 1 times. LaMotta didn’t go down, but he didn’t box again, such was the power and accuracy of the blows. It was brutal slaughter.
Manny Pacquiao would have eventually have been knocked out, with the same brutal treatment for sure. LaMotta was legendary for fighting toe-to-toe and taking punishment, but he never went down.
@ Welterweight he would KO Pacquiao before the 6th round. No footage exists of SRR at that weight but he was a lot better there than he was at middle….so just imagine how great he was.

You can’t really compare how many KO’s they have because Sugar Ray Robinson has way more fights than Pacquiao does.
I think Sugar Ray Robinson would beat him. I’m not saying this because he’s an all time great, I’m saying this because he’s better.
This question has been asked many times and the answer will always be the same. Sugar Ray wins either by wide UD or KO. He’s faster then Manny, bigger, hits harder, slicker, better boxer, better everything in fact. I like Manny but he is one of the best of his generation and SRR is one of the best EVER.
The speed and power of Manny Pacquiao would give nightmares to Robinson. Robinson never fought against a boxer of Pacquiao’s class, not even near. Pacquiao would win by KO in the 7th round.
