  • Hi

you need to buy the right memory especially with a quad processor, it would be silly to spoil the ship for a halfpenny of tar so to speak.

what was the point of buying such a fine processor and motherboard without the memory.

that is what i always do cost the whole thing and sometimes i just do not bother as it is too expensive.

wait a while and find two weeks later when i would be able to afford it i could have had the lot for the same price as the processor, motherboard on there own.

I would not have been able to do anything without the memory as the system required it.

Source(s): In fifteen years of building systems this lesson i learnt very early on. no point in having bits of a system. you need the whole thing to do the job.
and it can be expensive if you get it wrong. i have a load of ram memory as a result of a dodgy motherboard a so called mate off loaded five years ago. he knew it was faulty, but he was greedy.

  • Dual Channel DDR memory will do you fine.

many rams are made to work with Both Intel and AMD processors, the original system configuration should tell you what RAM was best suited for your PC

  • Kingston has between the backside failure rates. staring at this variety of application you’re working, then you certainly will prefer the tighter timings or faster clock velocity. If funds isn’t a concern, then i might get the tightest timings for the top clock velocity.
