    Honestly it’s pretty dependent on what type of runner you are, but in general unless your main focus is 4m or you’re really lacking in the endurance department, I’d say avoid XC. I know plenty of fantastic sprinters who did XC in high school and believe heavily that it slowed them down quite a lot.
