What are some good hairstyles that do not cause headaches?
I have very thick, curly hair, up to shoulder length.
Yesterday I went to the hair salon and tied my hair in a ballerina bun and I noticed that applying hairspray/hair gel on my hair just weighs it down and caused me a headache.
Any good tips/ ideas on how to have a good hairstyle without tension or headaches?

well, don’t put any more hair products, or tie your hair that would cause tension to your scalp and heap. just let it flow naturally.
i think a good hairstyle is a close crop. since your hair is curly, that should look ok with you 🙂 goodluck.
by the way, you could always use beeswax (like that of body shop). it gives texture and it deosnt weigh the hair down.
Just blow dry it in the morning and your ready to go or even straighten it dont use products maybe a light hold Aveda hair spray but thats it.
