What do you think about Michael Waltrip running all 3 races at Daytona?

i love it. Michael Waltrip sure has a lot of heart for racing. hopefully he can pull off a win. I’m pulling for Jeff Gordon to win the Daytona 5, but if Michael Waltrip scores the win, that would be sweet too.

I was not moaning over the outcome in 23 and I am definitely not after this race!! Matt and Kevin are my two favorites. But even if it was Jr. and Johnson in the top two, I would grip because they all had the resources to find out the weather and it seems to me the DeWalt team and Shell team planned for it a little better then the other teams by pushing themselves to the front for the win or second place in the event of rain. As a crew chief, that is one extra thing that you should pay attention to before the race. What kind of weather is expected all day? If rain, then when is it expected to arrive at the track and then try to push your driver to the front before it arrives. Way to go Kenseth and Harvick!!!!

I think it is great. He is one of the better restrictor plate racers out there and he has tribute paint schemes for Dale Sr. Any car that has a tribute paint scheme for Sr. always does well. I could see him destroying the field possibly in the truck race! Plus I would love to see the Napa Auto Parts #15 in victory lane one more time in the Daytona 5.

I think its cool, Daytona is a special place for him and another way for him to honor Dale Sr, who gave him a chance, when others were overlooking him.. Can’t wait to see him in the trucks instead of the booth calling the race.

Will he be the first driver to total 3 cars in the same weekend?

I think it will be great seeing him out there for all three races. He’s gotta keep his career going somehow.
