I think it’s pretty sweet.

  • Use it for a nickname but give a ‘normal’ name for school use. My twins have a Major in their class. I don’t like it.

  • I think its great! I like unique names. There are two brothers in the NFL with names Champ and Boss! Captain is right up there with those 🙂

  • Personally, I think he will get pciked on. I’m sorry but there are so many things that little ones can get picked on for these days. I would just hope its not their name. That is there forever.

Is there another name closer to the sound of that one?

  • I think kids would tease him. they might call him captain crunch or captain kangaroo after the cereal and an old tv show. really don’t think it’s a great name. sorry

  • NO! he will have to answer “why are you named that, are you a Captain? Is your Dad a captain?” All his life.

  • I wouldn’t, what you think is sweet today may get his *** kicked tomorrow. think about the child not what you want now. having a child is always about looking ahead for his safety and needs not your satisfaction. be real and for gods sake get off this kick that you have to be original about names, trust me when the first crappy diaper goes across the room youll be calling him something else.

  • What you think and what his peers will call him are two diferrent things. Give him a name he will not have to be made fun of! Michael, David, Abram, Joseph, Charles, Richard, so many ,many other choices. Good thinking on this!

  • I knew a man with the first name “Colonel”.

Ironically he was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps.

  • totally agree re the winged shoes, America and star on his shield. it sounds like the name you’d give a dog.

give the poor boy up for adoption if you’re gonna be so cruel!
