what is the most accurate air rifle for under 3 dollars?

i want to get a solid air rifle that can do the job against small game and has reliable accuracy. i would appreciate any advice out there

The T05 is a good trigger, but the new model 350 has the newer T06 trigger.

The 350 is the least expensive air rifle that I include among the worlds best. But, I favor the 350(25ft-lbs) in .22** rather than .177 – the 350 is very pellet sensitive to begin with and in .177 there just are not many relatively heavy pellets to choose from. I’m afraid someone not accustomed to this peculiarity among air rifles will get very frustrated. It “could” be a great air rifle, but you have to know what you’re getting into, how to work with the rifle, and be prepared to go through a large number of pellets to find just the right one(s)

“J Kirsch” has an excellent article on the subject and it pretty well explains why I “generally” favor the .22 over the .177 in rifles that deliver over 20ft-lbs of muzzle energy. >And particularly so in the 350 because of the reasons stated

.177 350 – Pellet manufacturers are coming out with more relatively heavy .177 caliber pellets all the time. I would suspect this is in response to the fact more .177 rifles are pushing into the 18-25ft-lb range and lightweight pellets just are not cutting it(accuracy). Something like the H&N Rabbit Magnum(15.74gr) may be the perfect solution for the .177 cal 350, I just don’t know.

This is the largest and best airgun forum I’m aware of. I I have not completely talked you out of the 350. You might ask or do some research here, on how the .177 350 is performing with this new wave of relatively heavy pellets.

It’s all relative to the power of your rifle. There will not be a problem if you use relatively heavy pellets(15gr) in a relatively powerful(25ft-lb) rifle. >The idea is to match pellet weight to the power of your rifle. Generally speaking, sporting air rifles tend to perform best when you keep the muzzle velocity between 8fps and 950fps. And you do that by using the correct pellet weight in relation to the power of your rifle.
