  • It’s hard to say which exact species without a picture but it sounds like an orb weaver. Many of them build very strong webs, some even strong enough to catch birds. They are completely harmless (except to insects).

Being slightly involved (Yellow and Black is in general natures caution signal) I have performed a quantity of searches… After trawling the web it looks it might be be a variety of Argiope (black and yellow lawn spider) nevertheless that’s a US spider and I am dwelling within the UK… Further looking indicates their is a ‘Wasp Spider’ that’s observed in Contienial Europe and many times the South Coast of England… Which remains to be a thriller as I reside within the Midlands(England – UK) that’s miles from the any coast allow most effective the South Coast…. Should I be charging persons to come back and seek advice from my Garden to look this infrequent website online or is there a further variety of spider out right here? They don’t seem to be hazardous to men and women are they I believe??? – my mum may be very anxiouis!!! Damon
