What position in hockey should I play to make a good team?

I’m in bantam major right now and I’m looking to make a aaa team. I’m 5′ 10″ and very fast buy I just don’t have the agility. I have a hard shot and I’m always looking to make plays. I’m just looking for the position were most spots will be open.

  • Lefty or righty? Righty, play right wing (it’s naturally better for a righty) and for a lefty left wing. That will be good since you’re fast, and they usually don’t have real long shifts such as defenseman, and you’re a little short to be a defenseman. Hope this helped!

  • Very fast screams wing..left or right.

Work on your agility you will improve fast with practice.

    Work on daily.

Edges, backwards, crossovers, pivots stops and starsts and glide turns. To get better you have to really work on it not just skate in a circle and call it a day. Just for agility I have 4 different 1 hr workouts and I do them 5 days a week.

Research agility skating drills and put together your own workouts.

    Good LUCK.

  • Just tell the coach you could play any position you want, but it sounds like you would be a good forward.

  • Right Bench or Left Bench sounds good.

  • if u r a good skater, go for D.

A decent shot and the ability to skate both ways may be your calling.

  • Sice you are good at positioning yourself Center
