I have a compaq presario C series laptop using Vista OS, which does not come with built-in bluetooth but has wi-fi. I am using wi-fi but also need bluetooth. So i bought a bluetooth dongle,it has built-in drivers and get installed. But on exploring it does not show any window for detecting bluetooth devices. Help ! Should i change my OS to XP to get blue tooth, bcos the same dongle works fine on XP of my desktop.
If i change to XP OS of my laptop, will i be able to use my wi-fi on xp OS in my laptop? Where will i get drivers for wi-fi if XP installed? Or else should i get used to vista without bluetooth and the new bluetooth dongle goes waste!! 🙁
