Here’s the diarrhea diet: BART or BRAT – either way you can remember it. It’s in the pre-med textbooks. Use it with Pedialyte because dehydration can occur within a few hours. Btw….this is for adults, too.
B – bananas
R – rice
A – applesauce
T – toast
In my experience is bananas, plain pasta like egg noodles with a very tad for butter flavor, And oatmeal for breakfast. Pedialyte for drink.
There r many flavors but plain, bubble gum and grape seemed to be my toddlers favorite. Noticed such side effects with teething and viruses. Good luck an remember when patience runs take a deep breathe we are here to love, cherish and help them grow. 🙂
You can give your child pedialite it really works i have a two year old that i give pedialite to when he has diarrhea and it helps him they also come in popsicle sticks which really comes in handy
no food!!! lots of pedialyte and popsicles. wash your hands well after diaper changes. follow up with the pediatrician.
diralite, get it from chemist, not taste too nice, butstops the runs and replaces lost fluids into the child.
