I’m trying to rent a place and they just want to see one, they aren’t going to run it. My credit isn’t awful but there are things on there from a few years ago that isn’t going to look good. I have a great job as does my wife and we can afford to pay for this house, it’s just that my report is going to be what keeps us from getting it.

It’s totally unfair, but sometimes you have to bite the bullet as they say, and just pay up to get her to shut up. That is one way of doing business. The other is to sue her for defamation, especially sense this person has committed fraud. But trying to physically find her to sue her may take up more time than what it’s worth. It’s a shame that people like her try to ruin small businesses.
Yea, no lender is going to trust a report you hand them. They run their own credit reports.
Any legitamate company will run their own report, you can’t fake it.
