My 10yr. old daughter is starting to collect cans so she could sell around Oct. for Christmas money. My question is if she starts to collect plastic bottles would she be able to sell them? And if so where would she sell the plastic bottles in Phoenix, Az? Thanks Alex.

You can redeem the Nickels at most recycle centers. Look for salvage or recycle centers. I think there are a couple on MC85 going towards Buckeye, but look on google maps.
Not sure where you are but we can get beer in plastic bottles. The only advantage the plastic bottles have over glass is that they come in six packs of 16 oz bottles instead of 12oz. I know the gas station right down the road has Miller (Genuine Draft, Lite) and Budweiser (Budwesier, Bue Light) in plastics. They’re nice for tailgating, because you don’t have to worry about breaking glass. And we all know that the only way to drink beer is from the keg or from the bottle.
