I have been given a limit on a new bike and im wondering which one of these 2 would be the better buy?

The better buy will depend on what use you will do of them. Are you racing? I doubt that because then you would know what bike to get. since you are not racing, a better buy will be something costing half of that.
It is like buying a pure thorough bred horse to plow your potato garden. Way over kill.
At that price point, there is no “better” or “best”. They’re both good. The question is – which one rides & feels the best to you. Take them out for test rides.
Get the one that feels the best.
