Which longboard should I get?

I’m a beginner, I just started a few days ago using my friends bored and I can cruise around and carve a little and stuff. (She has a sector 9- it’s a pintail) I really like her board and I don’t know if I should get something similar or what. I’ve been looking around and there just seems to be so many options.. I’m mainly going to be using it for cruising around and maybe some downhill and stuff (once I get better.) I don’t have many big hills or open streets near me and they’re all bumpy and full of gravel..I’ve been snowboarding for like 4 years and long boarding is similar so that’s why I want to get into it. I’m 5’7 and weigh about 110 if that helps! Also any recommendations for wheels that are good on rougher surfaces or any suggestions would be helpful! I just want to make sure I’m picking out the right board before I invest all the money into it! Lol

  • Shapes really don’t make any difference for what you are looking to do with it so just grab what you think looks cool. For the wheels, bigger is better, look for something over 70 mm. Bigger wheels ride smoother and go over things like gravel better.

Here would be my first choice if I were you.
