Who is your favorite NASCAR Driver?? Gordon, Martin, Dale Jr?

Mark Martin. As much as I hate that he is not running a full season this year (had a great start for possibly getting that elusive championship) he has been consistent through the years. Just look at the number of young drivers he has mentored. He always gives an honest, no finger pointing, “That’s Racing” account of the race during post race interviews even after some bonehead move by a stupid driver. I’m going to miss Mark Martin in NASCAR. I’m still undecided as to who wil be my favorite next year when Mark is done. This year I am still a Mark Martin fan even though he has no chance at the championship, and the fact that I don;t get to see him race every week. Go Mark Martin.

My #1 favorite is Dale Jr! (He’s a bad a$$ driver)

2.Jeff Gordon (awsome driver, even tho he can get a little whiney LOL)

3.Jimmy Johnson ( I call him the Shark, because he comes out of nowhere and just eats the other drivers up)

4.Clint Bowyer (because he’s my honey’s favorite)

5.Jeff Burton (I think he’s a classy guy on and off the track)

6.Tony Stewert (Gotta love a bad boy, and he’s a good bud with Jr.)

7.Kenny Wallace (he’s just too lovable, he’s my underdog)

8.Ryan Newman (the Rocket Man, cuz he’s Jr’s friend)

9.Kasey Kahne (He’s a good driver, and he handles himself well)

10.Carl Edwards (the only driver I like in a Ford, he’s just charming)

My favorite driver will always be Jeff Gordon. I also like Jimmie, Jr and Kyle Busch. To the guy who answered who ever is in front of Jeff Gordon, he must be routing for the lap car or the cars that are about to be lapped.

Joseph, Mark Martin is my favorite among all current drivers. He is so appreciative of all his fans, and that is not a publicity stunt either. i go to his fan appreciation day each year and he is so kind, so open. He is a true sportsman and clean racer. Even Sr., complimentented him many times about this. You would be pressed to find any driver current, retired or semi-retired who doesn’t respect him. He is core talent. he races the track too, in addition to his competition, and he truely cares about the sport. There are not too many other drivers out there that contribute time to the other drivers teaching them the tricks of the trade. (the only other I can think of who does it consistently is Boris Said).

I can’t count the number of times I have seen Mark coaching other drivers. I respect him for that, it is very admirable. May he continue to drive on his terms for as long as he desires.
